Well, you wouldn't believe it, but somehow unknowingly I have sprained my ankle. It was swollen for about a week and I finally got into the Dr. and it is sprained, unless they call me today and say it's broke.
However, I figure if it were broke I wouldn't be walking - but apparently I can sprain it without realizing it so who knows.
Anyway - the Dr. told me to go home get out of my flip-flops and put something on with some support! Do you know how hot it is here?! It's been in the 80's all week - who wants to wear shoes! Definitely not me! I am wearing them though, miserable things.
So now that I'm supposed to take it easy, keep up elevated, and all that blah blah blah I guess I've time to sit still, blog, and work on some projects. I got my new stamps in the mail yesterday - looking forward to playing with them later today.
Before I can fully sit down and relax I do have to go back to the base today and close out my partylite candle party. I think I will get a fair amount of free products - looking forward to that part, just not the picking out part. :) So much nice stuff, hard to chose.
My husband is still state side with his family. They've taken Jim off the ventilator and last I heard he was holding his own, but they are not going to take any further measures to keep him living. They are keeping him comfortable, if he pulls through it will be a Godly miracle. I just hope and pray that if this is it, it happens before David has to leave. I think that would be hard on him to be there for everything except the end. If you know what I mean. So please continue to keep them in your prayers.
My Mom is coming out here in just 15 days!!! I'm getting so excited! I booked our coach tickets to the city of Bath, Stratford upon Avon & Warwick Castle, plus our tickets to see Dirty Dancing LIVE; yesterday. All I have left to book now is a hotel for 2 nights in London, some train tickets, and the London Eye.
We are going to have such a GREAT time and I'm going to have so many pictures to scrapbook! I think it impossible for one to stay "caught up" life is just too full :) Maybe someday when I'm old and gray I'll reach the "caught up" stage of scrapbooking - but I highly doubt it.
I did make a really cute card last week - but I had no batteries in my camera to be able to take a photo of it, so my dear friend Jenny - should have received it by now, so maybe she'll be a sweetheart and take a picture of it for me and then I can show you.
I'm hoping to make some thank you cards today - I've a few people who I feel I really need to give those too - our trip to Great Yarmouth would not have been as enjoyable without those friends. So when I get back I do plan on propping this stupid ankle up and getting down to business.
Hope all of you are able to enjoy some of this sunshine - I'm shocked we're having it here in England to be honest, but I'm loving it!
Have a great day!
